This is to all of my friends here. This past year has actually been a hard one for me. I have had some medical issues and also some problems with my step-son. And I have even thought about giving up my dream of being a comic artist. Heck I even thought about giving up on my art alltogether.I have fallen behind on work that had to be finished. And I have promised to deliver on work which I have not been able to do because of the time constraints of the work I do. I know that really is no excuse to make a promise and not deliver on it . But honestly at the time I thought I could do it. So to all of you that I have said I will do work for you, it is coming! I am just really far behind. As of right now I am not able to do any work for anyone other than what I already have on my plate. It is not that I dont want to ,it is just I have to be realistic with the time that I have to work on projects. Now on to more positive matters! I want to Thank a few special people for their friendship and the help and advice that I have recieved from them this year. Nathan Thomas Milliner,Madman,Comibookinker1971, Jason Craig, Brad Meltzer, Jimmy Palimotti , Problem Child, Nicola Ciceria, Mathew Tow, The Batman, and also the rest of you that I havent named here.So as we start to leave behind 2007 and look to 2008 I want to start the New Year off by getting all those projects that I am behind on out to you. And you know who you are. Now a few New year resolutions.
1) LOL Loose 25lbs
2) Find more time to spend with my wonderful wife Collette!
3) Improve on my artistic endeavours.
4) Make new friends
And that is all I have ( Was going to put quit smoking but I have tried to many times and never have!) So Here I come 2008 you better be ready for The Hero Maker!

Great Offer from The Hero Maker Just in Time for Christmas
I have decided to do what I see a lot of my fellow artist on here do, I am opening myself up for commissions! But I am going to approach it from a different angle! I will pencil , ink or both any character your so desire on a 11x17 Blueline Pro comic page as a pin-up or 1 page sequential action scene. I will sign the art in gold or silver ink again your choice and here is the best part! You decide the price you pay for your original piece of art from me The Hero Maker! No strings attached. All I ask is that your be serious and be reasonable and realistic on the money! I mean if you ask me to do a sequintal page penciled and inked with alot of action, and you say your willing to pay $5.00 I will be insulted ! not just for me but for you having the balls to ask that! But if that is what you think it is worth then I will do it as I am a man of my word! So get to it and think of something you would like for yourself,a friend or family member. Remember Christmas is right around the corner! you can send your request to me here at cmerwin6@gmail.com just put commission in the subject line. And remember I will need a actual mailing address to send the work to so dont forget to inclose that plus a way to contact you. And one other note . Once the work is finished I will send you an email telling you that it is completed with a scan of the image. then once I receive the payment you have agreed to pay for the piece I will then mail it out to you! I have been burnt to many times to send the art before I get paid! I will only accept Money Orders. No Personal checks! Or credit cards. So if you think this is something you would like to do please contact me. Remember this is going to get busy fast so get your order in to me as quick as possible!!No one else will do this I can guarantee you that! Have a great Day!

STEVE NILES & KELLY JONES TEAM FOR NEW BATMAN SERIES
by Jonah Weiland, Executive Producer
Posted: October 5, 2007 — More From This Author
"30 Days of Night" author Steve Niles revealed on his forum Thursday evening that he'll be joined by famed illustrator Kelly Jones on a brand new, 12-issue Batman series for DC Comics. CBR News has learned the name of the project is "Batman: Gotham After Midnight" and will likely be released sometime in 2008.
The project is noteworthy for a number of reasons. This series marks the return to Batman by Kelly Jones for the first time since the late 1990s. Perhaps most celebrated for illustrating the preeminent Elseworlds story "Batman & Dracula: Red Rain" and its two sequels, Jones also enjoyed a long and memorable run with the "Batman" title from 1995 - 1998, approaching art on the series with a dark and moody style, often depicting Batman with incredibly long ears and an enormous, billowing cape, evoking an almost demonic look for the Dark Knight.
"Gotham After Midnight" will be the second go 'round with Batman for Steve Niles, whose "30 Days of Night" has been adapted for the screen and will be released in just a few weeks. Niles previously wrote the Batman character in the three-issue series "Batman: Gotham County Line" with art by Scott Hampton. The new 12-issue project reunites Niles and Jones, who've collaborated numerous times previously on the Niles creation Cal MacDonald, the hard-living, supernatural monster hunter.

Reaching for a DREAM
I really can not believe I am about to do, what I am going to do but I really don't know what else to do I have exhausted all conventional methods so here goes nothing. I am an everyday average 43 year old American citizen with a dream! I want to make a living as an artist as do half the artist I know, that is as plain as I can put it ! And this is probally one of the hardest professions in the world to break into. I don't want to be rich just able to support my family! I don't really care if I ever become a well known famous artist,I just want to be able to do what I love and that is create art ! comics ,paintings ,drawings etc...If anyone at all is willing to give a hard working loyal individual a chance to prove himself please respond to this bulletin. There has to be someone that knows someone that still believes in not giving a hand out but a hand up! A chance to prove that I am worth taking a chance on! This may sound like begging but it's not ! I have been on my own since I was 18. I learned very early in life that anything worth having or doing is worth working for it ! I put myself through college at the age of 33 to try and make that dream come true only to find after numerous interviews that I was to old ( would have to pay more than your typical college grad due to my age) or did not have the experience( wanted someone younger to mold and shape and not pay as much) to be a Graphic artist How can you get experience if they wont take the chance on you? There has to be a individual or a company here on the internet with the millions that are on here who needs a good comic or book artist !a painter or a storyboard artist. Maybe you know someone that knows someone. All I am asking for is a chance to prove that I can be what I have always wanted to be! I have to much pride to ask for something for nothing so if anyone that is serious and is willing to respond to this bulletin and can actually employ me give me 12 months to prove that I can be an asset to your company! If at the end of that 12 months you decide that I am not the person for you then no harm no foul and no hard feelings on my end! I have tried conventional means to make my dream come true and and now I am trying to make an opportunity for myself I may not be Jim Lee or Frank Miller or Norman Rockwell but I am an artist and as with anything I can only improve! I know most likely this bulletin will not amount to anything but I am trying to do what all Americans want to do, and that is live the American Dream! What do I have to loose? Other than someone thinking I silly for posting a bulletin like this. So if by chance this bulletine does reach that last person in America that believes in good old fashioned hard work and the chance to prove ones self then by all means please respond to this bulletin! Thanks for reading

Crimson Masque Comic Update!
To those that are familiar with Crimson Masque, it seems that the comic will not be going to print in 2008 as planned. At least not with me as the artist for the book! Anthony J. Alecia the writer and creator of Crimson Masque And Owner of Broken Door Publishing seemingly has given up on the book. I have tried numerous times to contact Anthony since the Broken Door Publishing comic con fell through for November. He has not returned my calls or answered my emails. So I can only assume that or contractual agreement is null and void. Since no monies exchanged hands in the contract I retain all rights to the Crimson Masque character concept design and look.I am really saddened by this turn of events. I considered Anthony a good friend not only a business partner. I truly hope that what-ever problems Anthony is struggling with that he is able to overcome them! And maybe sometime in the future we will resume Crimson Masque together.Until that time Crimson Masque is off the table for the Hero Maker!

Feel Like giving up on the dream!
To all of you that know me and are my friends you know I love comics and you know I love to draw. But I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. I am 43 years old! Not a young whipper snapper anymore. Since I can remember I have wanted to make a living at being a artist in some form or fashion. I even put myself through college at the age of 33 to help me achieve that goal. I graduated with an Associates as a graphic designer /artist But to no avail I was told after I graduated that I was either to old for a job and that they wanted someone younger for the position. Or i did not have the experience they were looking for. So I have continued over the years to try and build myself into a self-made freelance comic artist. I get the odd jobs here and there but not enough to make a living on. My dream has always been to be a comic artist and I have submitted time after time and have been turned down so many times I have lost count. I always wanted to work for DC as I am the biggest Batman fan in the world! I cant begin to say how many form letters I have recieved saying thank you for your interest but ... I would work for any comic company that whould allow me to obtain my dream! So what do I do my friends should I give up on this seemingly unattainable dream to work as a comic artist Doing something I would love to do.. I work as a maintenance turnover tech for the Housing Authority . It's a job and it pays my bills and I am thankful I do have a job! But I am so unhappy in my work and I dread each day getting up and going in. But In saying that the last year or so has been even worse as I have been trying so hard to make my dream come true to be a comic artist . I am miserable what should I do just forget my dreams and be happy with what I have or keep going for it. Im so confused right now Please friends some wise advise ! I feel that this will eventually drive me insane ! I cant just quit my job I have a wife and son who depend on me. Help!

9-11 Remembered!
I remember the day that I heard that the Twin Tower's in New York were attacked . I was working as a Security Officer at a retail establishment in Birkenhead England. It was about midday there and I remember a friend of mine coming up to me and saying that a plane had hit one of the tower's. I looked at him as if to say this isn'nt funny if your pulling my leg. There is no way that a plane could be flying that low as to hit one of the tower's . Then another patron came up to me and said your an American aren't you? Did you hear that another plane has hit the 2nd tower. Well at this point I was extremely upset and was trying to figure out what was going on so I went to my supervisor and asked him if I could go to the break room and watch TV to see what was happening. As a matter of fact everyone in the store that day went to the break room with me to see what was happening . We watched in stunned amazement as the planes were shown over and over again hitting the towers. I remember Gary the store manager looking over at me and saying " Damn Mate this looks's really bad!" Then it came across the screen from SkyNews Britains CNN that America was under attack. I remember this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach and I began to cry . My co-worker's were very supportive of me at that moment in time but all I could remember was that I felt like a traitor because I was not back in my own country in her time of need.. I immeadeately called my wife who is Britsh and asked her if she had seen what was going on and she said it was terrible and that she could'nt believe it! That night my wife and I and our kids watched all of the new's broadcast. my wife held me and said it was going to be ok! Well in the days that followed I have never felt so much support. All of the British people I knew would come up to me and say how sorry they felt for the people that died that day and there families! Well its seven years later after 9-11 and my wife and two of my children live here in America now. And life has been hard! But on this anniversary of 9-11 I just want one thing to be known ! I am an American and Proud to be an American and I support Our Troops and I am Proud of each and everyone of them that protect this country! I may not always agree with what our goverment does But I support the Office and Adminstration. If you live in this country wether you are Chinese ,Mexican, Korean African, Or Muslim and you are here legal'ly Then you are an American! Stand up for America and Defend Her she is worth it! And just one more note I am a Registered Democrat But today or tommorow or anytime actually is not the time to be a republican a democrat or an independent ! We have to as a country come together once again and be Americans! May God Bless each and every family that lost someone in the towers on 9-11 and may God protect or men and women that are protecting America! God Bless you all ! God Bless America and the rest of the world as well!

Program Info for Broken Door Publishings Comicon
Broken Door Publishings FIRST ANNUAL COMICON CONVENTION
NOVEMBER 2, 3, 4, 2007
To all guest, exhibitors and vendors interested in our 1st annual convention I first like to say thank you for your interest.
It has always been my dream to enter the publishing world in many forms and the most recent has been comic books and filmmaking. I have worked very hard in writing to create memorable scenes and dialogue along with fascinating storylines to help the normal, everyday person find a place to escape.
I know many of you have also had the same dream and of course have all succeeded in that dream by creating the work you all have done thus far. From the artist, to writer, colorist, inker all the way down to the very vendors that sell the books we create and we read.
I want to invite you all to our first convention to allow you to meet one another and display your work for everyone to see. I have always been a strong supporter of the independent hard worker because I am still one myself.
Please take into consideration the convention and having a chance to appear and help those that want the same dream to one day sit across from the same fans that got all of us started.
The Ramada Inn is charging a fee of $75.00 a day for rooms. Any exhibitors and vendors that reserve a table before Oct. 5th 2007 will receive a room price of $65.00 (prices may change).
Exhibitors and vendors tables will be 8ft long at a weekend price of: $150.00. An additional table can be purchased at: $50.00 and will be 6ft long. A $25.00 fee will be charged for any returned checks. All payments must be made by Oct. 5th 2007. Exhibitors and vendors can cancel their reservations before Oct. 5th 2007 for a full refund. Reservation cancels 2 weeks before the convention will receive half their payment back and any cancels after that will receive “no” payment back.
Exhibitors and vendors will receive 2 badges saying, “VENDOR” or “GUEST”. Additional badges will cost $10.00, this is to prepare the Broken Door Publishings Staff to make the appropriate room and space for the tables.
The convention times will be:
Friday: 3pm to 8pm.
Saturday: 11am to 8pm.
Sunday: 12pm to 5pm.
All exhibitors and vendors must be ready to set up their tables 2 hours before the first day November 2nd 2007 and check in with Broken Door Publishings staff for badges and information.

Full Page: $250.00
For purchase or black and white pages cut the prices above by half price. Make all checks payable to: Broken Door Publishings.
To all guest invited to the convention, you must sign a letter of intent. New Dates For Broken Door Publishings Comic Con Last time I promise!
So today Anthony got off the phone with Lily. She is the lady in charge of the ballroom at our Ramada Inn in Vineland, NJ. He has been waiting for her call for a few weeks now and she finally gave me the information we needed.
First she said it was ok to have the convention in the ballroom. That means more room for everyone and that is just awesome.
The one thing He had to do was, well, change the date for the convention one more time. Seems like people want to get married that same day. So the convention will be moved to:
November 2. 3. 4 2007. Yeah I know but thats business. He is going to be sending out all the information for guest and vendors to reserve tables for the convention. He's charging a smaller price than most because he would rather have quality than anything and the ballroom packed.
So guest list and store list will be up soon.
So please post this information to all the comic and film fans you know.
This is the most exciting thing I have ever done and I plan to have many more in the future.

Desire
My Dream To Someday Be An Artist For DC Comics
For those of you that dont know me , I am a Freelance independent comic artist! With Dreams of someday drawing for DC comics on the best title in my opinion "Batman"! I am the ripe old age of 43 years old and ever since I can remember I have always loved reading Batman comics! And I have seen every TV show and movie about the character! When I was in my late teens and early twentys I must have sent over 400 submissions to DC comics to try and land that dream job of drawing my favorite character Batman! But unfortunately I also recieved 400 rejection letters or form letters as they are known. So I quitely stopped sending the submissions to DC. Then I decided to try and do my own comic and hoped that I would be picked up by DC or maybe Marvel. But that to fell to the wayside! Then the day to day existence of life caught up with me and I gradually stopped trying thinking to myself that I was not good enough of an artist to ever draw for DC. So I kinda stopped drawing comics for a bit and started doing Landscape paintings and wildlife. And I have sold many many paintings . But my desire has always been to be an artist for DC comics. In the last few years that desire has come back to haunt me! Above all things except the love for my wife and kids I want to be able once in my life do something that I really enjoy and make a living at it. So I have that DC comics bug again and the desire is even stronger. I may not be as good as an artist as Jim Lee My favorite Batman Artist to ever draw the character. Or Norm Breyfogle ,Neal Adams Tim Sale 'Frank Miller or anyone of a number of greats that have drawn Batman or worked for DC But there is one thing I have in common with all of them ..... Desire! And even though it is somewhat late in my life as I am 43 now I have never really given up that dream of someday drawing for DC. It seems today that unless you are a scientist in anatomy or you have a very individualized style it's almost impossible to break in the biz! But I tell you what I will never give up on my Dream even though it may Never come to pass. Because you know what Dreams are what make us keep on fighting the good fight! Striving each and every day to obtain that unobtainable dream! So yes I have been told that my art seems stiff or unrealistic . But my interpetations of what and how I see things are unique to me! So really who's to say that anyone is better than me or that I am better than anyone else! Art is the expression of ones own self into what we call reality! I will keep pushing for my dream and I figure I have 5 years left to obtain that dream ! So just to let you all know Im going for it with everything I have in me and if anyone has advice or words of encouragement please let me know! I want this people more tham you can imagine!!! So say a prayer for me or wish me luck ! And on last note. Even if I never do obtain my dream at least when I go I know that I did do everything in my power to make that dream a reality! Well that is all I have to say for now! Good night my friends And keep those Dreams alive! It's what makes us who we are!

My Boss was approached earlier this week from a organization similar to Make a Wish foundation, about making a kid's wish come true. His name is Ricky and he lives in Harrisonburg VA. I was told that Ricky was a Huge Washington Redskin Fan and that he wanted his bedroom painted in the team colors red and gold. So my boss asked me in a round about way if I would like to paint his bedroom in the team colors. I said sure! I would be glad to do it. So I met Ricky on Tuesday of this week and we went over what it was he was actually looking for. We agreed on how he wanted it painted. But he seemed to still be down a bit. Which I guess at the age of 15 and going through radiation treatments would have anyone down. So I looked at him and asked him ,who is your favorite Redskin player. He quickly responded # 89 Santana Moss! So I said to Ricky I tell you what How about I paint Santana Moss on your wall as a mural. He looked up at me and said " You can do that?" I said sure His eyes got really big and a huge smile came across his face! So I said I will even paint the Redskin Helmet on the other wall for you, Sound good? Ricky looked up at me with his eyes ablaze and said "Awesome" Well today I finished the murals and the painting. And Ricky was a very Happy 15 year old today! So many of us take our health and what we have in our lives for granted. I think sometimes the world would be a better place if we all could learn something from Ricky like I did this week. That kid has to be one of the strongest kids I have ever met. And even though he has good days and bad days he keeps on fighting and smiling! In a time when our world seems to need hero's and people to look up to along come a 15 year old kid who in my opinion is a true Hero . Because against overwhelming odds He keeps fighting to live his life as best he can as a normal Kid! I am not trying to toot my own horn here, But I tell you what if you really want to feel good about yourself try doing something for someone else. Without any expectation for something in return just do to do it! God Bless ya Ricky and Thank you for giving me a life lesson at 43 years old! Everyone who is a friend of mine on here or even if your not please say a prayer in your own way for Ricky The True Hero Maker!

My Thought's On Spiderman 3
OK here are my thoughts on Spiderman 3:} I went and saw it on Sunday night, and well while it was good I must say 1 & 2 were better. For me there was to much about the romance between Peter and Mary Jane and also the fact that the Green Goblin became friends again with Peter, I don't remember that happening in the comics. Then there is Venom ! Not enough seen of him and the The Sandman while cool effects he also was to kind and wimpy towards the end with Peter forgiving him and all. Ok Now here is where I have problems with comics to movies sometimes. Please stay true to the characters and story's of the books for goodness sake! Green Goblin is an arch enemy of Spidey just as Sandman and Venom are! Pete does have serious issues with Mary Jane in the comics but not to the point that it over rides the the story and action in the books! Call me silly but if you are going to do movies about comics keep it as close to the true characters and story's as possible. But all in all it was a decent flick on a scale from one to ten one being the worst and ten being the best I say Spidey 3 is a 6.5. Any feed back is welcome later guy's

Within 5 Year's I will be a ...
Ok people here is what I intend to do within the next five years, I am 43 now so I have decided that if I am to make it for any amount of time in the Main stream comic biz I have only five years left to get there! I will be 48 years old in five so that means that I will only have a good ten to 13 years left to make my mark in either Marvel or DC. So what I want and need to do is make my work the very best that it can be so I have decided to concentrate on doing pencils instead of trying to do it all! and now here is the catcher I want any and all advice of anyone in the mainstream biz of comics to give me anyadvice that they think would help me acheive that goal. This is America and if you want something bad enough and work towards that goal you can achieve it ! So thwere it is! You all are hearing it first here I will be working for Marvel or DC in five years! Some how Some way with my determination and maybe a little help from my friends ! I am the Hero Maker and I will succeed! Thats all for now friends so get to sending me those advice pages and or connections. Speak to you all soon!
Nothing comes to those who wait for it with out first trying to achieve that which is not yet to be!

Comics to TV/Pain Killer Jane
I just wanted to say to those of you that like to watch TV to check out Pain Killer Jane on the Sci-Fi channel on Friday nights at 10:00. You can check it out here online: I watched the show for the first time April 13, 2007 and I found it to be awesome! Kristanna Loken as Jane Vasco is the star in new action show Painkiller Jane. (The following story is taken from the Comic Book Resources website/ CBR News Team, Editor, Posted: April 10, 2007) — Based on the comic book created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada, Painkiller Jane follows the adventures of Jane Vasco (Loken), a kickass heroine with remarkable self-healing powers. Formerly a hardnosed DEA agent, Jane is recruited by a covert government organization tasked with capturing "Neuros" - genetically-enhanced individuals who possess superhuman powers of the mind. During the course of her first investigation with the team, she inexplicably discovers that she too possesses extraordinary abilities - abilities that render her impervious to injury…but not pain. She develops miraculous regenerative powers, healing from injuries that leave her stronger than she had been before. As she continues to work with the government to hunt Neuros, Jane tries to uncover the cause of her own transformation and what - if any - connection she shares with the very people she is pursuing.
Dynamite Entertainment stated, "Whenever a comic book character makes the jump from the stands to the screen, there's always reason to celebrate! We're all going to have our eyes glued to our televisions on April 13th for Jane's big live-action debut on the SCI FI Channel! The stickers were produced by our good friends at the SCI FI Channel, and Dynamite is working to get them in the hands of retailers for the fans. And, if after the series premiere, fans still want more hard-hitting Painkiller Jane action, they should head back to their retailer for the all new Dynamite comic book series, which starts with the specially introductory priced (only a quarter) and will be in stores in time for Jane's SCI FI Channel premiere."
SCI FI Channel is a television network where "what if" is what's on. SCI FI fuels the imagination of viewers with original series and events, blockbuster movies and classic science fiction and fantasy programming, as well as a dynamic Web site (www.scifi.com and magazine. Launched in 1992, and currently in 89 million homes, SCI FI Channel is a network of NBC Universal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies.
Dynamite's new Painkiller Jane comic book series (which kicked off in April with the special priced - just $.25 - Painkiller Jane #0 to coincide with her SCI FI Channel April 13th debut) features a story by Jane creators Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti and is written by Palmiotti with interior art from returning Painkiller Jane artist Lee Moder. Painkiller Jane #1 is scheduled for a May release and will be available with covers by Amanda (Supergirl) Conner, Georges (Buffy) Jeanty, Ron (Supergirl) Adrian and Stjepan (Darkness) Sejic! Fans should also check with their local retailer, as Painkiller Jane #1 will also be available as a "Blood Red" Foil Edition! ) So there it is folks if ya want to check it out go ahead and let me know what you think of it by leaving me a comment. As far as my own stuff well I am kinda at a stand still at the moment as I have the summer flu! So I am not feeling up to par at the moment! Well I will speak to you all on my next post!

Difficult
I am finding it more and more difficult to juggle my full time job and doing my comics! My job has become more demanding as I am on call a lot and it is getting into my drawing time that I have at night and on weekend's. But for now I am able to get the work done, but I am staying up many late nights! But I enjoy doing the comic work and wish that it would become profitable enough for me to do it full time. Anyway now that I have had my weekly moan here is a sneak peek at the WIP of the Crimson Masque Poster I am working on. Hope you enjoy it!

My Head is going to Explode
O.k, normally this space is for me to talk about my comic and things related to comics, But in this blog I just want to say that common sense in America is Dead! I am sick to death of our elected Congressmen and Senators, Democrats & Republicans, the Left the Right ,The Religious and the Secularist, Big Government & Big Business. LEAVE US ALONE! If I remember correctly our fonding fathers set up our constitution with these three words on the first line and first page, WE THE
PEOPLE! We need to take back this country from a bunch of power hungry Politicians! Kick them all out and start over from scratch. If we dont we are going to wind up in another CIVIL WAR in this country and it is not going to be good! And as far as this war in Iraq , we are there we went in we did what we did We have to finish this war and bring our Brave men and women home but with victory not defeat. Regardless of what you think of this war . We have Brave men and women there fighting to protect this country and to complete a mission ! When did America become a whipped dog? We could win this war in a matter of months if the damn Politicians would keep their F$#%&ing noses out of it! I dont like the way my country is heading. And I worry for my children and my grandchildren . I thought that this was a free country but more and more I see our rights being taken away little by little because people have become to dependent on the freaking government federal ,state, and local to tell us what we can, cant ,will, or wont do! What ever happened to personal responsibility! If you dont want your kid to watch something on TV get up and turn the freaking channel don't wait for the freaking government to put a law in effect saying that it is illegal to watch this or it has to be rated R ,PG, XXX! Why can't we as people do it without the government stepping in . And Smoking last time I checked was not an illegal drug so why are we as people letting the local and state governments pass all these anti smoking laws? If you dont want people to smoke then make the damn things Illegal! And Last but not least Political Correctness ! Its disabling this country know one can say anything anymore without offending someone. I would rather know that a person next to me is a racist from what he says than find out by him one day shooting me because he is a racist that has never spoken of it then one day goes nuts! The bigest problem this country has right now is MONEY AND POWER! We have gone mad for it .Example The only two Qualifications for someone to be able to run for president is 1) Be an American Citizen 2) Be a Certain Age - thats it nothing else to qualify you . But for someone to run for President today they have to have a Fort Knoxx Bank roll and be Jesus himself! What have we become have we gone so far off the deep end that we cn not see we are destroying the Greatest country in the world! Anyway That is all I have to say ! I hope this country will survive the next 12 years! God Please Bless America! And the Rest of the world As well! Oh by the way if you vote for me as President I could'nt do any worse or better! and I am a Democrat go figure! I am an American First and that is what we all should be! Secure this country win this war and let's get back to being good neighbors to one another!

Who would have guessed!
Well today was a very interesting day as I received an email from someone named Shawn Surface on my comic space site. He said he had actually picked up an ashcan copy of Mantaman my first attempt at an indie comic for Emillio Diaz. I did the art for the book. But due to some copy write issue the book never got published. Anyway he asked me to check out his site. His work is very very good I suggest checking out his site here http://www.surfaceartstudios.com
So anyway I asked him in an email if he would like to do an art swap, so I am waiting to here back from him about that. Well as far as Mind Hunter Omega I am at a stand still at the moment trying to finish the last four pages . We have gotten a lot of snow from this storm that is hitting the East coast at the moment so I have been really busy with my regular job. But all is going well I am still not happy with one of the pages I am doing so I think I will be redrawing the entire page as I just don't like the composition. Don't you hate it when things go that way! So until the next time Live Create and Strive for the best!

The Creation Process
I have found that while doing this comic, "Mind Hunter Omega" for www.redzonecomics.com has been a great learning experience. While I have been an artist most of my life. I have learned a great deal doing this comic simply because I have done each and every aspect of it. I have penciled, inked, lettered, colored and edited the story in certain area's. Also developing the character designs and backgrounds.I have learned the meaning of time restrictions and deadlines! Issue #2 should be available at the end of March. Terrence Kriton of Raven Comics is coloring the pages as we speak. Issue #2 will be the first color issue of MHO . So if you want to check it out go to the website and order the book on-line now! I will get a little more into the comic creation process in future blogs so if you want just suscribe to my blog. This is new for me also ,as I have never really thought about blogging so be patient with m as it is a learning process! thats all for now , see ya soon!
